So, how did two Miami natives end up falling head over heels for pickleball? Well, it all started with a chance encounter at our local YMCA. Picture this: we’re waiting for our turn on the racquetball court, and we spot a group of folks having a blast playing this quirky game called pickleball. Nicole’s curiosity gets the best of us, and before we know it, we’re swapping racquets for paddles and diving headfirst into the world of pickleball.
What began as a casual pastime soon turned into a full-blown obsession. We found ourselves hooked on the thrill of the game, the camaraderie of the pickleball community, and the endless possibilities for fun and competition. And as we dove deeper into the sport, we discovered a shared love for the rules (yeah, we’re those nerds), the strategy, and the sheer joy of being out on the court together.
By day, we’re your average nine-to-fivers—Mark in software and Nicole in marketing—but by night (and pretty much every other free moment), we’re hitting the courts, refining our game, and spreading the pickleball love far and wide.
